What is going on everyone...
Sorry that it has been a while. Things just got a little crazy in the past couple of weeks. I had two computers crash and have resorted to used my old school laptop. 
Just to give you an update about JHO:
JHO went from 35-40 students on Wednesday night to around 100 last night. Here is the secret for a ton of growth...we bused about 60 of those students in. (shout out to all the students in Marshall Middle). We'll be launching J-Hi Live, a seven week competition to the goal of an awesome grand prize. The greatest prize is what Jesus is going to do in and through the lives of those students.
Here is something fun to pray about today when you are doing your devotions...
1 John 3:6 -- No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.
Every time that we sin, we choose to walk away from God. The farther that we walk away from God, the smaller that He becomes in our lives. It is like flying in a plane and looking down and seeing all of these mini houses. The closer that you get, the more detail that you will notice and even get to know the person who lives in the house.
::Good news:: 1 John 3:8 says Jesus came to demolish the devil's work...If you have messed up and screwed up, ask Jesus today to demolish those things in your heart that distance you from Him. Why??? Because God has placed a seed of greatness in you that is only unique to you and wants you to grow that seed until it becomes great. | 
This is how I feel about sin right now...not about sinful people but about sin. It ravages and destroys people. It is out for the kill. If it hasn't killed you yet spiritually and emotionally, it will if you let your sin go unchecked. Drop to your knees and repent. Ask Jesus to forgive you...and the crazy thing is that he will. But on our part, we must turn to God and away from the sin. I did not say you need to turn to church or to a specific preacher, but turn toward God.
